The Preview : Arsenal FC vs Blackburn Rovers FC

We return to the Premier League this week and after a boring week of international duty Arsenal take on Blackburn at the Emirates.

Cesc returns, and should start against Blackburn. Also back are the crucial duo of Theo and Song. And some others such as Diaby. Ramsey, TR7, and RVP will be given late fitness tests, but hopefully everything should work out fine.

Szczesny, Luke, Denilson are all out.

Probable-Line up:

Subs : Almunia, Eboue, Gibbs, Ramsey, Diaby, TR7, Arshavin, Nikko, MC29

Final thoughts :

Rovers are a very physical team so in all probability the defense will have their hands full. I have a feeling Lehmann will start this week, so let’s give a big welcome back to the German.

As far as the match is concerned, although it is going to be a tricky affair yet anything less than 3 points will be scorned at but the likes of me and millions of Gooners around the world.

  1. right about onething dkd, nothing.but 3 points will do…. enough jerkingoff…. the league is our to win , or lose , depending on the intensity of our fire and desire within…. i have a feeling it will be a lobsided win for us …. 3 or 4 goals to one for rovers…. jans is indeed welcomed back, but he is there only as safety gap incase manuel is not able due to injury…. manu. to start i think….

    1. my believe in arsenal success is treue robin vanpersie with vp injurie we can wine the cup the premier will is for us as long as the elphant vp is on pls wenger work for his recovery

  2. If we can get a lineup like that and a bench with Almunia, Eboue, Gibbs, Ramsey, Diaby, TR7, Nikko, MC29 then we can take Blackburn and all 3 points. They will come at us with their usual ferocious tackling and try and disrupt the midfield as well as parking the bus and try hitting us on the counter (particularly in the air). With Cesc, Nasri or Arshavin and wilshere in the midfield, we can expect a ton of scoring chances. Song is welcome and is our holding defensive midfielder but my concern is the CB situation with Djourou and Vwermaelen still injured meaning Squillaci and Koscielny paired up again. If Walcott starts alongside Chamakh or Bendtner, very positive things can happen for the Arsenal. If RVP starts, and gets stuck in, we can really hammer Blackburn.
If Allmooneyes is in nets, that’s already 1-0 for Blackburn but if Mad Jens starts…who knows what to expect?
What a relief it will be to say we start the following for the rest of the season:

    Vermaelen (Koscielny sub)
    Djourou (Squillaci sub)
    Clichy (Gibbs sub)
    Song (Diaby sub)
    Cesc (Ramsey sub)
    Jack (Rosicky sub)
    Nasri (Arshavin sub)
    RVP (Chamakh sub)
    Walcott (Bendtner sub)

Bot that is a title winning lineup!
