Norwich FC 1-0 Arsenal FC : It was like watching the sun for 90 mins.

I swear at the end of this blog post I felt I completely wasted my time. It was like watching a guy slip on a wet floor for one hour.
Sub-standard is probably the best word I can sum up for Arsenal in the first half. Arsenal fans will say that the goal conceded was lucky. Well, everybody says that for goals conceded in such a manner.
They do have a point. Mannone cannot be fully blamed for the goal, because it was a difficult ball to catch. May be he could have prevented such a hard rebound. Should the defense be put bestowed with all the criticism ? No, in my opinion.
What pissed me off about the performance in the first half was the stench of arrogance, and over confidence that eminated from this Arsenal side. Arsenal in England, on the field are probably the kings of possession. Even in this match, if possession counted at all, an equivalent score should be 20-0. But possession never counts, and it never will.
In match action was like a pendulum. Arteta to Jenkinson, back to Arteta. Arteta to Cazorla etc, etc, etc. I don’t remember one chance in the first half. Well, I guess there was one if one counts Giroud shot which was blocked by Ruddy. That too was offside. Lets see what else. I think it was the 3rd or 4th min when Podolski flashed a shot beside Ruddy’s left hand post, or was it right hand. Doesn’t really matter does it ?
The second half was more of the same uptil the 52nd min. Then there was one minute gap, and from 54 we had more of the same. I think the entire Arsenal team woke up late today after a late night of drinking. Chamberlain also came on and went off in the middle.
With 10 mins to go, Wenger brought on Gnabry for Jenkinson. Please don’t mind, but I have to write events like this because in terms of match-play there was nothing. In added time, Wenger played a master-stroke when he put Mertersacker to partner Giroud, and slotted Arteta as CB.

I agree, it seems they drunk too much last night, that performance to can be likened to only people with hangovers! With a performance like that, we can surely not only kiss all trophies good bye but also the top four position! Hell, West brom and Everton are doing better!!
Look on the bright side you are still in the top if just barely! You also wont play norwich every wknd, there 4 teams below norwich in the league easy points for u to pick up!

Lets hope it was a one off and won’t be repeated anytime soon……AFC seem to be the model of inconsistency so far this season….great performances followed by lesser ones. I doubt Mannone is up to the EPL standards but where were Giroud, Podolski, Gervinho or Cazorla?

While other clubs win and lose trophies from season to season, the afc are the only team consistently not winning trophy season after season! You have the longest serving manager in your history and the most unsuccessful! No arsenal manager has ever gone 7 consecutive seasons without a trophy big bird is working on h is 8th!

Arsene needs to evaluate his attack policy. Passing is useless without movement. Only Ramsey seems to realise that. The rest is like passing between skittles. O for the days when Rosicky, Hleb, Fabregas and Flamini ran defences ragged. Their movement and energy were what created the impetus. Podolski, Arteta, Cazorla, Gerv, Giroud are simply not in the same league. Do any of them get the ball or themselves forward quickly? Only Ramsey wants to drive in, get beyond and attack. The rest are poseurs. Get the Ox, Jack, Diaby and Rosicky out there to give Rambo some support! The rest want a pass and MOVE transplant!!!!!
