The Preview : Arsenal FC vs Wolves

This time Arsenal’s boxing day fixture falls on the 27th of December, courtesy of the the problems of the London underground. Personally, it will not make  much of a difference as long as the home side get 3 points.

Regarding our captain, Robin is just 3 short of the record for the highest number of goals scored in a calendar year. He currently stands on 34 and the record at 36(Shearer).  I feel he can get it. There has been alot of expectation and pressure heaped on Robin. The best way to ease some of it is get ‘a goal’ against Wolves.

Probable Line-up :

A high pressure game is what we require against Wolves who can really prove to a be a Jack in the box on their day( remember they ended united’s unbeaten run last year). I hope Robin gets his goals, but more than that I hope we get the required 3 points .

Side note :

One problem that is most likely to occur is fatigue, and due to that the injury list may increase. The reason for fatigue is due to fixture congestion. If you look at our last week fixtures, we faced City and then 3 days later Villa, both away. Again 3 days 4 days later we will face Wolves, and then 72 hours later its QPR.

Who the hell plans such fixtures ?

I disagree with your idea of Frimpong in midfield. We have no balance with him there.

instead of frimpong, miquel on leftback and song doing the holding job. Van’s got a minimum of two goals(xmas gifts) waiting for him. Arsenal 4-0 wolves . Go gooners go for it !

I too want to see Le Coq play RB until we get Sagna/Jenkinson back from the treatment table. We really have nothing to lose he won’t be beat for pace or effort. He will only get better in possession and positional awareness in defense, and we increase his value should we sell him. Most of all he needs games and willing to do anything to be on the first 11. I also want Ramsey to watch Rosicky a game or two and sub in for Arteta to get deserved proper rest. Yoss

why should we sell coquelin? we can’t find buyers for deadwoods but we’re planning to sell our top youngsters. genius!
unless you are hoping arsene will spend 20 millions on m’villa, keep dreaming.
also people please lay off frimpong, he had one bad game and you want out of the team. song was worse remember at his age. frimpong will develop quick now is in the first team

I don’t really want to sell a young talent like Coquelin, but that is what gunners board do. That is there plan buy cheap develop and sell decent! Because of the evidence at hand (selling team) and the our recent history of failures, it is logical that we prepare players like Coquelin for their proper values. Anyways, in my humble observatory opinion Le Coq is the best option for RB till the proper RB comes back.
